Learn to scuba dive!
We are affiliated to the Sub Aqua Association (SAA) which is an association of independent dive clubs. SAA member clubs maintain their independence while maintaining the national standards of the saa and benefiting from regional and national support. The SAA has a policy of working with related organisations and has active relationships with CMAS, RNLI, BDSG, MCA, CDA and many others.
Your open water course will consist of 10 pool sessions and 19 lectures and throughout the course you will be introduced to the practical & theoretical skills required. You will be assigned an instructor for the duration of the course who will teach you the practical skill needed. We aim to make the course enjoyable so if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask your instructor or the training officer.
Although we like to see some dedication to complete the course in 10/12 weeks, the program is flexible to work around your availability and ability to master the skills
Upon completion of the pool training & lectures you undertake a skills assessment and a theory examination. After passing the assessment and examination you are now ready to take your first open water dive.
If you are already a SAA, BSAC or PADI qualified diver, then come along and meet us. we will answer any of your questions and you will have the opportunity to see if we are the kind of club you are looking for.
