Testimonials
Greg Casson (Open Water Diver 2009)
I would like to thank everyone for their time and the efforts that they put into getting me trained to Open water diver standard. I feel it was a very comprehensive course, (not to be compared with the one day, rushed courses that must be seen on some package holiday offers). Everyone involved, from Charles with his slide shows and lectures, Joe with his very reassuring manner and encouragement in the pool, Graham with his obvious medical expertise and the very encourageing way that I feel we were all handled on our first faultering steps into Capernwray.
On my second or third dive at the quarry we went over towards Shergar and then, after Brian had made sure that I was confident enough we then dropped over the edge and decended to about 20m. where we saw 2 Sturgeon(I only know what they were because I was told by Brian).
My last, and qualifying dives were done last weekend with Mike as my dive leader, and again what an absolute gent. He passed on all sorts of tips to me that had been gained from many years of enjoyable diving, and at all times I was made to feel that I, and my safety and enjoyment were the most important things on his mind.
Again, if I can just say one big thank-you to all involved at the club for their time and knowledge given to this year's trainees
Thanks a lot.
Greg.
Kate Bond (Open Water Diver 2008)
Absolutely fantastic course. All instructors were extremely helpful (and patient!) and made me feel confident in the water, even when I was nervous.
I made new friends, improved my social life and learnt a new skill
Thanks so much

Ilona (Open Water Diver 2008 and nearly a Club Diver)
Great course which gave a good understanding of all things scuba plus the practical element in the pool before venturing out to open water.
I had reservations about doing the course as I'm no spring chicken but everyone made me very welcome and went out of their way to help me (and are still doing so!) Thanks to you all!

Catherine 2006
I am writing to express my thanks to Rossendale SA Club for running the Open Water Course 2006. I enjoyed the course very much and in particular I`d like to thank Mike for the lectures and Brian for the practical training I received. Thanks also to everyone at the club for their help and encouragement, there are too many names to mention!
I wondered whether this could be posted on the Club`s website so that people browsing the site might be encouraged to "have a go" at learning to dive. Im certainly glad I took the course and I hope to carry on and improve on my new found skills....Thanks again.
Catherine
